Neplokho Agency: Landing Page for a Marketing Team in 1 Month

Neplokho Agency is a team of content marketers. They write articles for businesses, generate leads from media platforms, and help entrepreneurs build marketing departments.
I’ll share how I launched a landing page for Neplokho Agency in 100 hours, illustrated a service that has no photos, and built a YouTube Cover Generator with Figma components.
Concept & Layout
Flexing with numbers
Most landing page success comes from juicy product photos.
Q: But what if there are no photos and can never be any?
A: lean on the numbers.
Big numbers speak for themselves. I decided to focus on the tangible results delivered through partnering with Neplokho Agency.
Modular Swiss Grid
Neplokho Agency specializes in writing sales-driving articles.
I decided to play off this specialty through a Swiss modular grid. The website layout resembles a two-tone printed newspaper, reflecting their newsroom roots.
The team immediately struck me as cheerful, bold, and good-natured, so I sprinkled the design with handwritten elements.
Mobile and tablet adaptation
I created a separate design for mobile devices and tablets. My experience in mobile app design helped me avoid common pitfalls when porting desktop layouts to mobile.
YT Cover Builder
The client urgently asked me to develop a YouTube thumbnail template for them. Their channel was launching literally the next day, so I needed to come up with something simple yet interesting and original.
Problem
The core issue with any template or guidelines is that they never work as intended. Eventually, content creators ignore them or find them difficult to use.
I wanted to create a simple enough builder that any non-design employee could use it, yet ensure the end result always maintained quality standards — no jarring color combinations, wonky layouts, etc.
Solution
I leveraged Figma Components to lock in fonts, element positions, color schemes, effects, title lengths, and other details.
It’s impossible to gunk up the thumbnail layout even if you intentionally try.
Results
Neplokho Agency started receiving targeted leads in the very first week after launching the website.
